Describe a time when someone’s words had a lasting impact on you.

When I was talking to my mother, she told me to always sit down when angry, before doing anything. I kept this with me throughout my life. When someone or something gets me frustrated, I will think about it for a few hours. Then when I wait long enough I will take my action. Every time I did this the first thing I wanted to do was never the action I took. Allowing for me and others to have a more pleasant time.

We took notes on informal writing.

I learned more details on how to write formal and informal.
