In “A Rose for Emily,” Miss Emily’s actions shock the reader—she kills her fiancé and keeps his body in her home for years. People often react with disbelief when they hear about real-life stories that seem just as unbelievable. Write about the most shocking or “craziest” news story you have ever heard. What happened, and why did it stand out to you? How did people react to it, and what does it reveal about human behavior?
About one week ago I watched a documentary that just came out called "Perfect Neighbor". It primarily consisted of body cam footage of all the events that happened leading up to the main incident. To make a long story short, by the end this old woman killed a middle aged black mother with a shot to the shoulder. The murder got of free for a long time under the "stand your ground" law in Florida. What really surprised me is that the murder knew about this law and how to use it to not go to jail, and in many cases this law dose protect people who committed homicide. By the end the court gathered enough evidence to remove the "stand your ground" law from being used, and she was scented to person for murder. Yet this probably wouldn't have went this way if it wasn't for the protest for the murders imprisonment.
We finished the story story "A Rose for Emily".
I learned about many homicide committed in the United States.
