Words shape how we think, write, and interpret literature. Think about a time when learning a new word or understanding a specific term helped you better analyze a text, express an idea, or make your writing stronger.


    When reading I came across many allusions to the bible like, forbidden fruit, haven, Eden, etc. Not growing up christian made it hard for me to understand when stories use these words. Over time I learned the meanings of these allusions, and I know I can analyze text a lot better.

We learned some new vocabulary.

I learned new words I can use in my text.
