In “I, Too,” the speaker expresses pride in his identity and his rightful place in America. Reflect on your own life: What aspect of your cultural identity are you most proud of, and why?

 

    I hold my pride in my Jewish identity, since it has been in my family for as long as we can look back. I have studied and come of age in Judaism, and I will continue to pass it on within my future family.


To day we did a map to represent the peom "We Real Cool."


I learned of a new peom called "I, Too."

Write about a time when you realized you needed to look out for yourself in a silly or harmless situation—maybe dodging a pop quiz, escaping a group chat argument, or remembering at the last second to submit an assignment. How did choosing wisely make your life easier?

      My friends and I go to parks a lot. One time the invited me to go with them, It was night around 8 and I decided not to go. Later on that night my friend got badly hurt, and had to go back home, and miss a day of school. By not going I was able to avoid getting hurt like my friend. We finished the story story "The Life You Save May Be Your Own". I learned about the lesson the story taught.
