Many holidays center around traditions. Describe one tradition that is important to you or your family and explain why it still matters (or why it no longer does).

 

    A tradition that my family has kept for many years is the Hanukkah party. One day in Hanukkah we all go to my Bubbie's house and have a celebration, with all the family. With people coming from New Jersey. I love this tradition since I don't get to see some parts of my family that often.

      My friends and I go to parks a lot. One time the invited me to go with them, It was night around 8 and I decided not to go. Later on that night my friend got badly hurt, and had to go back home, and miss a day of school. By not going I was able to avoid getting hurt like my friend. We finished the story story "The Life You Save May Be Your Own". I learned about the lesson the story taught.
