After reading “Out, Out—” by Robert Frost, reflect on a time when you faced a dangerous or high-pressure situation that demanded your complete focus. What made the situation risky, and how did your concentration affect the outcome?
Once when I was driving, there was high traffic on the road beside me, while my side was moving around 40 miles per hour. The back up on the other side made where cars trying to pull out couldn't see the incoming traffic easily. So a car popped out five feet in front of me while I was going around 35. So I had to think quickly to not hit them. I ended up slamming the breakers and turning into a grassy area. I ended up just bearably missing the car, and all ended well. Yet if I wasn't fully forced I would not have been able to react in time.
