Thinking about "The Rockpile," what is something your parents forbade you from doing when you were growing up? Explain what it was and why they might have set that rule.

 

    When growing up I was not allowed to ride the public transport by myself, beside the school bus. I used to live in Seattle and the public transport there was very popular. Yet when I was still in elementary school, I wasn't able to go on the transport alone. It was unsafe with the people who road it, and I didn't have a cellphone either.


We read a short story.


I learned about the unsafe life of life.
